Random Pops during record.
They are recorded. Start out with none, then gradually get more anoying. Not a clocking problem.
I feel like I have done all I can (making sure all plugs are updated etc...and am running the 8.0.3cs2, it seemed better for a while with cs2, thought I had it licked, but pops have slowly returned) Anyone else experiencing this? Am getting frustrated. Thanks, Jason

Re: Random Pops during record.
DO you have your session clocked to a single master device? Any time digital signals come together, there needs to be one master clock source and all other devices must slave to it. With either ADAT OR SPDIF, its as easy as setting Pro Tools to clock to whichever digital device/port is used. When you use BOTH, then you need to figure out how to provide clocking to everything correctly. If all devices have Wordclock ports, I would probably use the UA as Master and daisy-chain wordclock cables to the the SSL and 003, set the SSL and Pro Tools to sync to Wordclock.

Re: Random Pops during record.
UA 2192 is the Master Clock. Am wired how you described. I am pretty sure its not a WordClock issue. Thanks for your speedy reply.

Re: Random Pops during record.
Do you have "ignore errors during record/playback" checked in the Playback Engine?

Re: Random Pops during record.
Not checked. 003 is set to Word Clock. I really have done all the routine things, thats why its frustrating. I recently installed AIR Music Exp Pack. I wonder if its something to do with plugs? Would PTLE 8.0 be better?
Jeesh. Thanks
