Default No way on earth.

So there's no way on earth that I can open Pro tools LE without it saying 'No Pro Tools Hardware found' and not opening at all, until I have saved up enough to buy a 002??? Oh dear. Please tell me it isn't true.

How did you get the Pro Tools software without owning the hardware?

Oh dear, oh dear, we are telling you - IT"S TRUE.
Between this post and the recent thread on the Mac side started by "AHorrorStory", begging for some mysterious entity to unveil the secret of running ProTools without any hardware attached, I'm amazed at how many peeps just 'don't get it'. Nothing to do with experience, or whether or not you're a newbie, we're all here to help, to teach and to learn from each other but come on man, just a little basic research, and without digging too deep either, all the info is right there on the very site where you downloaded the PT software to begin with! You simply cannot run PT without any Digidesign hardware attached to your computer, period.

sigh......
