Default 360 3D Audio?

Hi,

Am getting some enquires about this 360/3D audio. (to accompany 3D video headset viewer)

Tried searching the forums (and the Internet) but very little info out there?

Anyone recommend a good starting point?

nom but i am getting involved with a company working with VR .. very early on for me .. i would love to follow along here and will post when i get more info on what they plan on doing ..

Hey. Obviously a big subject. A lot of the VR encoding takes place within the programming engine, such as Unity ir Unreal. A lot of other companies, like Google, Yamaha, etc. are feverishly working on solutions. Ambisonics is going to become a more common format (about time) as foley recording in anechoic chambers. Heaps of info in AED. Lastly, check out twobigears.com.

Follow the game audio forums. These are the chaps at the forefront of this.

Hi People .

So we have got Ambipan running & Ambihead too.
We have succesfully printed an ambix / ambisonic mix to a quad track.
The people we're delivering to are using Premier & it seems the names of our individual tracks/channels in the file aren't of the correct naming protocol .
They are wanting the tracks/channels to be named 0,1,2,3
Does anyone have any advice on this . ?
