Default Any MachFive version 2 users on PC?

Feels like looking for needles in haystacks - but are there any other MachFive version 2 users on PC out there? I'd be interested in how yours is working - mine's... well... got issues...

Sorry I can't help you but I just wanted to say thanks for getting back here and posting.

I've been watching over at unicornation to see if I should upgrade to V2 and so far, it doesn't seem like it. Of course if it was the free upgrade it would be a no-brainer but mine is not.

Best of Luck 3over3 - keep us posted on how it's going.

Actually, if you're after a recommendation, I think it's a fantastic upgrade - all the new toys are superb - loop lab, timestretch play, new filters and fx, much better browsing and importing, better editing displays all round, great new modulation/layers routing and I love the onboard synthesis. It's by far the best tool for sound creation and manipulation I've ever seen. And the sample library is very usable - don't be too swayed by the froth about whether it's better or worse than x, y, z... or Goliath.

My issue is that it's not quite behaving itself in PTLE for me yet - it's good in standalone (which is yet another reason to get the upgrade). I'm tweaking drivers and settings and getting closer each time and I'm asking Tech Support if they can work with me. I know it's always more complicated with PCs - that's why you don't see a "MachFive version 2 doesn't work with my PC!!!!!!" posting from me just yet.

I figured the DUC will be a better (= less DP/Mac oriented) place to catch me a PC M5v2 user to see if I'm alone in having trouble with the plug-in - I'll try the 'nation if nobody can contribute here.

It looks to be outstanding 3over3 but I have enough problems in PT without this. That and the length of the development time have put me off for now - but I'm still poking around unicornation - one never knows…
