Re: Has anyone tried the Bob Clearmountain drum sample CD\'s?
Owners of Roland XV 5080 and other XV units must check out the "Dynamic Drums" expansion...true gold! The key to any of these is good playing/programming chops.

Clearmountain One still has the best cymbals of any collection I've heard.

Re: Has anyone tried the Bob Clearmountain drum sample CD\'s?
Fingerz,
I use that Dynamic Drums card and you are right. They are SWEEEET! I've only used a few kits from it so far, and they are up to date and really easy to use! How great they really are is only limited by your imagination and chops. I just open up six or eight midi tracks and record each drum on its own track...and then I can play around with it like I have a real kit with discreet tracks! Everything I've used it for so far sounds golden!! Works great with the XV-5050...that's what I use. Murph |
