Owners of Roland XV 5080 and other XV units must check out the "Dynamic Drums" expansion...true gold! The key to any of these is good playing/programming chops.

Clearmountain One still has the best cymbals of any collection I've heard.

Fingerz,
I use that Dynamic Drums card and you are right. They are SWEEEET! I've only used a few kits from it so far, and they are up to date and really easy to use! How great they really are is only limited by your imagination and chops.
I just open up six or eight midi tracks and record each drum on its own track...and then I can play around with it like I have a real kit with discreet tracks! Everything I've used it for so far sounds golden!!

Works great with the XV-5050...that's what I use.
