~~~ Running sessions on internal drive on Powerbook G4 ? ~~~
Is anyone running sessions from the internal drive on Powerbook G4 ?
I do music editing for TV / FILM and move around a lot. Would be great not to have to lug an external drive around all the time. Thinking about a bus powered firewire too also. Thoughts? Thanks. |
Re: ~~~ Running sessions on internal drive on Powerbook G4 ? ~~~
Hi, running off the system drive is actually not supported.
I have a Macbook Pro that I take around to do some editing(for tv/film as well) while I'm away from the G5 but I carry an OWC on the go FW drive with me. Its actually pretty small(fits in my pocket) and it has the Oxford 911 chip. I have tried running off the system drive of the laptop but as the tracks increase, error messages start to pop up. Hope this helps.
