Default Master Fader

My Master Fader changes volume level from 0db flat horizontal line as the track plays along. The flat line doesn't seem to change, but the volume value in the little window at the bottom of the console track view does.
I thought it is supposed to keep the volume constant for the tracks routed into it. In this case it is just two stereo tracks of recorded acoustic guitar going into it. Please help.

Try setting automation on the Master track to OFF, or delete the Master track and create a new one

Or check the furthest volume automation breakpoint to the right and move that one to 0 dB or delete it. (If there are only two breakpoints, at the end and at the beginning).
