Plugins Questions In PT12
I recently upgraded to PT12. Can anyone explain to me how I can add my old plugins into PT12? I have no "Plugins" folder or anything like that. I have no idea how this works or else I would provide more info. Thanks!

Re: Plugins Questions In PT12
Hi William
When you say your old plugins, what PT version did you have before the upgrade and what plugins are you missing now? Did you have any 3rd party plugins that aren't showing up now? The more info the better

The AAX64 plugin format is the ONLY format PT 11 and 12 will see. What did you upgrade FROM?

Re: Plugins Questions In PT12
Did you install the 3 AIR effects and instrument installers? You can find them in your Avid Application Manager or your Avid Account.

Re: Plugins Questions In PT12
I did install the AIR effects and instrument installers. I have those and they are working just fine. I have Antares Auto Tune and I have no idea how to add that back in to my PT sessions. I upgraded from PT10.

I upgraded from PT10. I have the Waves Renaissance bundle, Antares Auto Tune and a few others that aren't showing up.

Re: Plugins Questions In PT12
You probalby had an RTAS or AAX-32 version of that (the only formats Pro Tools 10 ran). Pro Tools 12 only runs AAX-64. Get an updated AAX-64 version from Antares and install that. Some .aaxplugin files contain the 32 bit only plugin, some contain both the 32 bit and 64 bit versions.

Re: Plugins Questions In PT12
Yeah, do as Darryl said and install the latest versions.
Assuming you have the latest version of Auto-Tune, it is AAX64 bit compatible. So go download and install it. http://www.antarestech.com/download/latest-software.php Same for Waves. Just download and install the Waves Central app, log in, and install your plugins. http://www.waves.com/downloads/central

Re: Plugins Questions In PT12
For the Waves update; I just downloaded Waves Central and sent my license to the computer I'm using (since it wasn't here already). Should this have solved my problem or are there more steps I need to take?
