Default Good book on mixing

I'm fairly new to pro tools and just recorded a song with it. I've found some good books on how to use the various compressors/eq's, etc but I was wondering if you guys could recommend a good book that goes over mixing in general, maybe with some workflows or something. I don't know where to begin, do I eq first? Compress first? I'm not trying to do anything pro, just for myself, but it'd be nice to get some basic directions.

The mixing engineer's handbook. Read this book cover to cover, and still use it.

Yamaha's Sound Reinforcement Handbook is also good. Not specifically for mixing recorded music, but it has a large amount of information on the physics of sound and some general concepts that are very useful.
