Can´t download software upgrade just bought

Hi, Avid

I am having a problem when accessing the Master Account for validate, download and update.

Could this be done simpler? Lots of logins. I Miss the strainght old Digi webstore.

Ikeep stuck going back to Avid Master Account center.

It says that my Master Account was created but nothing happens, keeps cycling pages. Changed passwords and nothing.

I did not have such problems when I upgraded to versions 8,7, etc.

Created the general Contact Case, described procedure via webpages, changed password...waiting for a solution...

I tried Products Not Yet Downloaded, Avid Software Activation and Download .
Notiing Happens. it gets frozen at the login page as If I were not logged in.

It happens with IE, Google Chrome and Safari...

Master Account>Avid Software Activation and Download<page>add activation code<page>iLok account<page> fill out the details.

After that: my products then the downloads are a bar below what ever product.

Eventually while downloading head over to iLok and retrieve your asset license.


Also the Avid site may be down but if you can log in you should be good.

Exactly what I am trying to do but this thing is broken.
When I select Avid activation and download, the site returns to the login prompt!

I have even called my credit card company and they confirmed the charge already ocurred.

What bothers me is why haven´t anybody simply helped me after 2 emails.

I Tried again on a MAC/Safari as well as with a PC. This thing is bad.
It enters my account but when I try to activate/download anything, it asks again for logins and logsoff as I retype the data.

Bad..very bad...

4/4/20 Don't know if this is a dead thread or not, but I bought the Educator's version of Pro Tools, finally got a Mac mini to load it onto, opened the box to get the download discs (that's what I though I ordered from Woodwind and Brasswind) and found it empty. I though they 'accidentally' sent me the download version, so there should have been a card inside at least, but the box was empty. There was a card glued to the outside of the box, so I tried activating with those numbers, but it didn't work. I contacted Woodwind and Brasswind but they told me that they can't provide any information about any activation code because the code is given within the product itself since it is a physical item delivered and not a download. They told me to contact AVID to fix this problem, but AVID doesn't answer the phone, and AVID's 'chat' is either offline or doesn't respond. It seems like I'm stuck paying for an empty box. Any ideas on how to fix this would be appreciated...
