Protools 8 Authorization Question [solved]
Dear friends,
I'm totally out of my league when it comes to this topic. Any help would be greatly appreciated! I installed and authorised protools 8 on a mac a few years ago. I reformatted the mac and sold it. I no longer use protools. I would like to try to sell the mbox mini I have as well as protools 8. If I were to sell it, would the buyer be able to use the authorization code? Is there someway I can deauthorize the copy of protools I have online? Thank you thank you thank you! Last edited by WonderingAboutThat; 10-06-2015 at 02:56 PM. |

Re: Protools 8 Authorization Question
ISSUE RESOLVED
I was able to speak with someone at Avid. Protools 8 does not yet use the ilok system and therefore it can be installed on multiple devices as well as sold when no longer used. Though it does require the mbox mini 3 that I bought it with. Thanks for your help! |
