Default (a) MBox Micro (b) Anyone using PT7+ on Single Cores?

Question: Will PTLE 7.3 run okay on a single core laptop

I'm dying to get my hands on the MBox Micro when it comes out, but I'm curious to know how well PT7.3 would run on a single core. My main system at home is a Digi 001 PTLE 6.1 computer running on an old 1.8gHz processor. I recently purchased a IBM X31 Pentium M 1.4 laptop and installed Pro-Tools 6.7 with the original MBox and it ran better than my own Spec-Built PC! I ran 32 track sessions with NO error messages (even with using the SYSTEM DRIVE), although the CPU meter read 100% all the way through.

I use 7.1 on a laptop Centrino M 1.7 GHz with 1 Gb ram all the time.

epu you should be fine. FWIW the Core series of processer was evolved up from the mobile line not the desktop P4 line.

Thanks a billion guys! I think I might go all the way up to 2GB of RAM instead of 1GB. Will that make much of a difference? Someone told me that my 1.4gHz Pentium M was equivalent to a 2.8 P4. Is that true?
