drive partitions
Quick question for anyone who nows. . .
I work exclusively in OS 10.4. I have a client who wants to partition a section of his newly purchased work drive for PC. Will this cause any problems when recording/working on my OS Platform HD rig? Thanks in advance to anyone who knows the answer. --Andy |

Re: drive partitions
Yes it will, eventually. It is best to partition and format entirely in Mac HFS journaled, make a partition for his PC stuff (HFS mac journaled) then get him to install Macdrive onto his PC so that he can use the drive. Making dual MAC/PC parttions on a drive is asking for problems.

Re: drive partitions
Is he running a version of Pro Tools on a PC? If so, which version?
