Default drive partitions

Quick question for anyone who nows. . .

I work exclusively in OS 10.4. I have a client who wants to partition a section of his newly purchased work drive for PC. Will this cause any problems when recording/working on my OS Platform HD rig?

Thanks in advance to anyone who knows the answer.

Yes it will, eventually. It is best to partition and format entirely in Mac HFS journaled, make a partition for his PC stuff (HFS mac journaled) then get him to install Macdrive onto his PC so that he can use the drive. Making dual MAC/PC parttions on a drive is asking for problems.

Is he running a version of Pro Tools on a PC? If so, which version?
