how do i recrod left only channel from audio cd ?
jamey aebersold play along cd? how do you record it into Pro Tools? I tried and it does not split..just records everything stereo...using XP and 6.4 thanks

Well, isnt it supposed to record in stereo and then you pan to the side you want to hear in ProTools?

Just drag the left of the stereo file into a mono track.

it\'s wierd but i seperate it out and still hear
both tracks playing..that's the problem..should i just delete the track i dont want? or the master audio that was oroginally recorded? and how would i rerecord it onto a new track and put the bass and drums in stereo? possible? thanks for the help

import the track into Protools(File--->Import Audio to Track)
select the imported track, and make it two mono tracks(File--->Split selected tracks into Mono) mute or delete the right track. ev
