Sound Miner and the XLS files that accompany sound libraries.
Hey guys,
Is anyone familiar of this? You buy a sound effects library and along with the files there is an XLS file too with all the meta data - is all this included in the wav anyway or do you guys drag the new library folder into sound miner. . . and then also drag the XLS file in? Cheers for any help! |

Re: Sound Miner and the XLS files that accompany sound libraries.
XLS is a Microsoft excel spreadsheet file. As far as I know SM doesn't read those, so the spreadsheet is just included so you can read the meta data before loading the files into SM. I'm sure all that metadata is embedded in the wave files.
