New G4 and Adaptec 39160. Will it work now?

So, the new G4 has so much bandwidth on their PCI Bus. Will Digi's approved Adaptec product? Especially the dual channel 39160?

I've learned that, the only reason that make Adaptec's unstable with PT was, the limiting factors of old G4 PCI Bus. The Adaptec's need so much bandwidth.

My only concern was, that Atto DPCI was already an obsolete product. In less then a year it will worth nothing, I have no other reason to invest on it.

Yes, I really hopping for an answer for this. I'm due to configure my 3 PT systems with (Aurora) Fuse. Thanks Digi.

The short answer is "not at this time". We may be looking at additional testing in the future, but it is currently not on the testing grid at the moment.

Currently using two systems, a G4 450, and a G4 450 DP, both with Adaptec 29160 cards. Flawless so far. Copies around 1.1 gb of data per minute between ultra 160 compatible drives. Both with Mixplus systems, MacOS 9.0.4, PT 5.0.1...
