Default Midi Studio bugs

Just wanted to know if others are seeing these issues in the last two releases of Studio version.

Midi Studio:

On initial opening of ProTools, the Properties Instrument Name for a device is displayed. Nothing below this is shown, just a big grey area, until you click a second time in the properties area. Then the remaining menus and selection boxes are displayed.

Devices in the "Name" column lose their input and output assignments on startup. They do retain their midi channel assignments for Send and Receive Channels, just not their Input and Output Port. Have to reselect daily.

When selecting Input and Output Ports, the selection you click on does not choose the correct port, it randomly selects a different port, not the one you selected. Have to repeat the process 2-3 times to get the correct port activated.

Windows 11, Lynx Aurora(n) TB 16, GeForce NVidia 1030 video card with latest 546.33 drivers, Intel i9, 32GB of ram, all drivers are up to date for ASUS MB. Mio, Roland UM, Code61 midi keyboard.

Default Re: Midi Studio bugs

Just getting back to this. This issue is partially solved so will relay that part.

Problem 1:

This is still happening. Not sure why

Problem 2: Still in Midi Studio...

Thanks to AI search engine I came across a solution whereby starting PT in Admin mode i.e. running as admin, this somehow starts working and I/O is remembered after closing and restarting PT. Go figure.

Problem 3:

This is no longer an issue as the ports are now remembered in 2 above. However, problem still exists for new devices you might add.

Hope this helps other Window users.
