I'm actually very happy about Ableton Link. It's exclusion has been a large argument against using Pro Tools for my workflow. Pleasantly surprised.

Just downloaded and installed Protools 2020.9 on MacOSX 10.15.6 Catalina. Loaded up a few sessions to test and it seems to be running fine so far.

Edit: I am seeing the new PT Vanilla bug that counts stereo tracks as 2 voices rather than one. At 44.1 and 48.0 KHz, the total voices are maxed out at 128, hence only 64 stereo tracks. I believe at 88.2 and 96.0 KHz, that results at only 32 stereo tracks. This issue has been reported by a moderator to Avid. Let"s hope it gets fixed promptly. Yes, but SD2 need to be converted which is now possible.
