Default Basic Software Question about cc's

Hi there,
I'm using an EWI USB windcontroller to play midi data into my ProTools 10. So beside midi on/off and velocity data I'm writing cc2 data.
After quantizing the midi on/off events, my breath control data stay unquantized in there positions which I of course don't want.
The same situation appears by using cc64 or other cc commands.
I guess I just don't find the right knob to fix it?
Who can help me with that very basic problem?

best
m
