Default Pro Tools 8 Bins & AS Handles PLEASE???!!

Dear Digi!
I have been using Pro Tools and supporting Digidesign since version 1.06, I have a drawer full of software that was dropped without any thought during OS9/10 changeover (remember Post-conform?). I have an 12000USD Avidoption XL gathering dust in my garage without the option of even just a partial exchange on a Mojo.
I will forgive you for all of that if you can give us:

1) Audio Suite with handles.

2) A bin structure so that one can arrange files in the region list

Thanks
Stef

I'll give you a Post example:
You have a region of dialog say 3 min long
Now let us say that from 1 min 40 sec to 2 min 24 sec you want to apply a phone filter effect using an Audiosuite plug.
But instead of the picture hard cutting (like it did in your work print) from local to remote prospective, it de-solves
If you had 5 sec handles when you made the 1:40 to 2:24 region the file would really be from 1:35 to 2:29 giving some you or the re-recording mixer something to x-fade

Thanks, I know exactly what you mean. That would be a fantastic time saver for me.

Another vote for both Folders in the Region List and AudioSuite handles. If pressed I would prefer AS handles first.

Thanks,

+1 on both counts.

Bins was a promise to all the AudioVision folks when they were forced into ProTools in 1999. Ten years later...here we are still.
