7.4 still showing problems when relinking

Hi,

7.4 is still showing the old re-link bug. I open a session that used to be completely online yesterday. I haven´t changed anything.
I open it 90 files offline (all avid-media).

Relink-window comes up. I chose manual relinking and select only the drive with the files. I chose name & ID. No matches. I chose name. No matches.

I close PT do the usual DB-delete hoop-jumping. I repair permissions. I reboot. Launch session. Same files offline. I select one of the files and hit "find candidates" and instantly get a match. I confirm relink. I select all others and hit find links again. No matches found.

I repeat the whole procedure. Same problem

So now I have to hand-click find candidates and confirm for 80 files?! (Ironically it´s actually faster to hand relink 80 files using "find candidates" than to wait for an automatic relink wich takes about 40 minutes till finally NOTHING is found)

OK. So I hand relink 80 files. I Save. Close session. Re-open to verify. Now 40 files offline?!?!?!?!? Some of the files that were offline before. I give up. What do I do?

Why the flip does "find candidates" always find stuff while "find links" doesn´t? What ever "find cadidates" does differently could you please use that code and replace the "find links"-routine with it?
