authorization code provided from Pro tools needed

Hello I foramatted my computer (mac powerbook 1.33 mhz, system MAC OS 10.3.3 and tried to re install PT, from CD PT version 6.2.2 it starts up but asks for:

please enter the autorization code provided with this version of PT its inside the cover of getting started guide or inside the upgrading to PT guide.

And I dont know where is the getting started guide, how can i get the number to run PT?

When you bought PT you recieved a small white boklet called getting started with PT. It came in the envolope that you Cd was in. On the inside cover is a code it will lokk something like this

DIGI0106 XXXX XXXX XXXX that is your authorisation.

thats my problem that I dont have the book any more .

Pinzas, I had the same problem, and here is what I did. I called digidesign support, and they told me to have Guitar Center(where I bought it from) fax over a proof of purchase. I bought Pro Tools a year and a half ago, but Guitar Center still had a record of it in their system. They faxed it over right away and, and then I had to call Digidesign again and they gave me a new authorization code. I would try doing this from wherever you bought it from.

Actually I bought @ guitar center too, the issue is that I am in Mexico city , If i dont get the number I will call, or fax them.
