Default How Do I turn Off Lights on Mbox

I was checking the Firmware version in the Firmware Updater and unplugged the USB connector like it told me. When I reconnected it, all the lights came on and I get a message saying "Unable to locate Digidesign hardware. I don't have a clue what happened but the Mbox pc isn't online if that means anything.

You need to run the firmware updater again; it's stuck in update mode.

Offline?

The mBox firmware updater (located at C:\Program Files\Digidesign\Pro Tools\Pro Tools Utilities\MboxfirmwareUpdater.exe ) does not go "online" to do anything. It is the firmware that your particular version of Pro Tools needs to function properly, and is included with the software. The only updating that is done is from the computer to the mBox.

Yup, that's where I'm at but it isn't working for me for some reason. BTW, thanks for the quick reply. When I try to rerun it I get a message "Error acquiring Mbox firmware in firmware upgrade mode. I guess I'm trying to upgrade??

I would try restarting your computer, and re-running the updater again.

If that doesn't work, you will need to contact Digidesign for a solution.

Why did you run the firmware updater in the first place? Were you having problems?

I've tried restarting & rerunning. I wasn't having any trouble just checking things out. Thanks for the help, I guess I'll contact Digi.
