Default Weird sound loss problem?????

Hi, I am having a really weird problem with Pro Tools 8 M-powered. As far as the tech stuff, I'm running PT8 on an iMac (i7 w/8G RAM) with a Profire 610 interface. For some reason, at random times I will hear a pop in my monitors and then loose all sound from Pro Tools. Last night I finally figured out that it seems to be happening when I have multiple tracks running and I solo or un-solo certain tracks. I've spend hours trying to figure this out, and it has begun to really hinder any productivity. Anyone have an answer on this one?

Default Re: Weird sound loss problem?????

maybe a driver issue. M-Audio is currently working on new drivers for FW interfaces because of issues like that...
