Upgrading pro tools fron 12.4 to 12.8 ?

I have a licence for pro tools 12 issued 15/12/2016 ( currently using 12.4) wondering how far i could upgrade to without having to pay more money.

You can check your license on the iLok License Manager. Right click on the PT License bundle and check what your license supports. It will say what you need to know there.

So here is the answer:

It's the Release Limit date. It's displayed in the Details for a perpetual license/bundle in iLok License Manager.
Launch/sign in to iLM
Right+click the PT license/bundle and Show Details

Also, I don't think you'll find a download link in your Avid account for any versions you can't use with your existing license, so the versions listed there can be used without any additional costs.

In other words, if 12.8 is in your account then you have a valid license for it.
