Laggy performance of S3 in Pro Tools in Eucon 19.x

Hi,

I bought my S3 together with the Dock in December of last year utilizing EUControl 18.x.

Ever since I updated to EUControl 19.x, I am experiencing a huge problem in Pro Tools, which can be best described as a noticeable lagging in all of the OLED displays on my S3.

If, for instance, I change from group A to group B all the faders are instantly snapping in place. So do the color indicators above the oled displays, as well as the other indicators like mute, solo, etc. In contrast, the OLED displays show a noticeable lagging of about half a second until the current values are displayed. Also, the small meters inside the oled display, which are indicating sound on a channel, are lagging behind in comparison to the meter levels on the bottom of each the channel strip.

Be aware, this is not occurring when I use Logic Pro X!
In Logic Pro X, every OLED Display is snappy as ever and there is absolutely no lagging whatsoever!

Also the issue does neither occur on the Dock nor the Pro Tools Control iOS App.
Seems strange to me!

Hi,

I just wanted to inform you that the issue reported by you about the laggy performance of S3 in Pro Tools in Eucon 2019.5.1 and 2019.7 on OS X 10.14 Mojave is now under the discussion with the Engineering Team. I was able to reproduce the issue and the difference between version 2018.7 and 2019.7 is noticeable. I will keep you posted with any further updates.
