Default Quick Punch

Why is it that when you are in quick punch mode and recording something the recorded waveforms don't show? Is there a way to have them show in quickpunch mode?

Default Re: Quick Punch

No - and my only guess is that to draw the waveforms would tax the system.. so they decided not to do it. Consider on a TDM rig that you have 32 tracks recording, that's 64 voices being used while in QuickPunch.. quite a bit of overhead.

Personally I don't miss it.. my 2 inch machine never showed me the waveform and I used that for years.
