Default Pan link?

Hi all,

I was wondering if there is a way to link the stereo pan control in-order to move both channels relatively to each-other to create an automated panned stereo effect( on a stereo track)?

Cheers,

Shil

its horrible when no-one answers.., so, despite my being fairly new at this, ill have a crack at it..,

firstly.., i dont understand the question. pan link?? there are a lot of ways to automate panning.., but you want to link the panning to .., hang on.., you want to link the two stereo interleaved panning sliders together so they will automate together??.., as far as i know they already are linked??

can you be a little clearer on what you are trying to achieve Ive read it over and over and i cant make sense of it. do you know how to automate the volume from the editing window??

M:)

Click on the small fader symbol just above the track meters (Mix window) to open the track output window. Enable linked mode (looks like two entangled O's), and inverse pan. This will get you what you want, yes?
