Pro Tools Does Not Recognize M Box
Recently purchased Pro Tools 7.0 M Powered. I have the M Box 1814 Firewire. When I try to open Pro Tools it says no M Box is connected?! The program then closes. However, I'm getting playback with other music programs - Cool Edit Pro, Itunes, etc, so the M Box is definitely connected and working. Does anyone have a solution? Please help.

Re: Pro Tools Does Not Recognize M Box
First of all, the 1814 is not an M Box. But I think I understand you. If you installed the driver from the M-Audio driver CD, then that is your problem. You must install the driver from the Pro Tools M-Powered install disc, the one called FireWire Driver.

Re: Pro Tools Does Not Recognize M Box
You should only install the driver from the M-Audio website.
Do not install drivers from any of the cd's that you received. The website is the place that has the latest drivers. Goto: www.m-audio.com
