Default Dock Monitor control 2018.7 eucon master fader

Hi,

A new feature of the newly released PT2018.7.0 is that you can assign the monitor control knob on the dock to a master fader. Very useful for us who are using the dock without an XMON or MTRX.

However, at least for me, it is completely useless. Because when I mute the monitors by clicking the knob, anytime I click the knob a second time to unmute the monitor path it doesn't go back to zero. It will go back to anywhere from -1.3 to +0.9, which I assume shouldn't happen.

Anybody else having this issue?

(sorry meant to post this in the Dock sub forum)

Curious, does holding option or shift make any difference?

How do we assign this in the first place? Is there a new version of Eucon? I just don't see an option anywhere.

[edit]

Nevermind.. I see it in the right click menu of the Master fader. Push mute, returns to the previous value here. Option click returns it to unity.

Posted something akin to this in the Artist Control section because I still have one.

Clicking for me does indeed switch consistently between "previous value" and "fader down to zero output".

It should go back to where it was previously...if it went back to 0 it would blow a lot of peoples speakers !
