Default Difference between Inserts & Aux Sends

When you press the button on an already loaded Insert plugin, the parameters for the plugin spill out over the 8 knobs in the Artist Mix or MC Control. But when you do the same thing to an Aux Send, all you get is a L/R pan option.

How do you get the parameter controls for an Aux Send to show up on the controller?
