Oxford 924 vs Oxford 934 Firewire Question
Can I use FW 800 with a Mercury Elite Pro Classic HD that has the Oxford 934 chipset? According to the following ProTools 9 compatibility specs... the 934 chipset is only listed as FW 400 compatible. (see below)
On the other hand... the 924 chip is listed as both FW 400 and 800 compatible. I know the Mercury Elite Pro AL drive has the 924 chip. I am ready to purchase one of these drives... just need a little help in deciding. Thanks in advance...
