Upgrading from M-Powered to regular old Pro Tools... Will this cause problems?
Basically I've had M-Powered 7 for a long time using an M-Audio Delta 66. However, I've recently decided to upgrade my entire setup, and I'm now going to be using an Alesis I/O26. Obviously this means I will need to upgrade the version of Pro Tools I have. If I was to do this, would the sessions I recorded in M-Powered 7 be usable in the version of regular Pro Tools I choose to upgrade to (I'm thinking 10, is this the best version for me to get)?
Sorry if this has been asked before, I just want to make sure I have all the facts before I commit to buying anything else. Thanks for your help! |
