Default Default to External Clock Source?

Hey All...

Simple question that I couldn't find the answer to in the reference guide. Is there a way to have the Clock Source default to "Ext WCLK" when starting up Protools?

Not a big deal to go in and change it I know...just wondering.

Cheers,
Andrew

Sadly, since 8.0.4, this has been an issue. PT used to remain set to your chosen clock source(unless the clock source got disconnected). But now it reverts to Internal on every boot up.

Thanks for the info. Too bad. I always somehow forget to change the setting after a boot up and that first playback is all pop pop click pop click. I hate that sound!

HA! That's actually a great idea...done. I can see where this is going to go...post-its all over the studio.

- Tune the guitar
- Check your levels
- Get up and stretch
- Stop drinking coffee you've had enough.
