DAE error 7053
This is making me even more nuts. For some reason when I reload a previously fine session it decides to de-activate one of my Plug-ins (Echo Farm) Citing DAE error 7053 (DAE is low on memory). Here's the catch, it isn't low on memory. I've had it set from 50000 to 200000 (just to be certain...) and I have 2 DSP Farm cards empty. I can use the plug in another session with out any problem. WHAT THE @&@*@*&@&!! IS GOIN ON???

Re: DAE error 7053
Since Echo Farm requires Mix hardware to open, it is possible that you don't have enough DSP available on your Mix card(s).
You can try forcing Pro Tools to instantiate Echo Farm first when opening a session by moving all tracks with Echo Farm to the very left of the Mix Window (or to the top in the Edit Window). Brent |

Re: DAE error 7053
I believe that Echo Farm requires an SRAM DSP chip which is not available on non MIX cards. So, if there is another PI using the SRAM chips that are available before loading Echo Farm, that could be causing the error that you're seeing.
Hope this helps, MasterJ |
