Default Q for 7.2 users regarding fade tool

Hi!

I need to know if the temporarily suspend grid mode (pressing command key while in grid mode to temporarily change to slip mode) work on the fade tool in 7.2?

Thanks

Suspend grid mode does not work with the fade tool.

Thanks Blairl
So many fade enhancements but this annoying "bug" are not fixed

How about a checkbox in preferences "Fadetool always in slip mode"

When you say "Fade Tool", do you mean how the Grabber tool can move fades? Or am I missing something?

Hi Steve and Minister.

The smart tool. I use it 99% of the time.
The fade tool is the only tool within the smart tool that wont suspend.
I think it's funny.

Thanks, folks. It's been written up as a bug and should be fixed in the *next* major release of Pro Tools after 7.2.
