-7053 error

Just got this message trying to put istope vinyl on a track:

"The plug-in could not be made active becasue DAE is low on memroy (-7053)"

I just got a new computer, and I know its got enough memory - migrated all apps and accounts to the new machine... could this be a contributing factor? I've been doing a couple sessions since I did that and things have seemed fine. Checked all the setups, they seem fine... Already trashed databases, prefs, &c. Wierd problem that I've not encountered before, even with my old system. Typing in -7053 into the answerbase search yielded not so much. Any thoughts?

So... Anybody got any suggestions for this problem? Its still happening, and I haven't yet gotten any solutions...

Is this happening with any particular plug-in or all plug-ins? If it's just one plug-in, which one?

Does it happen in all sessions or only particular ones?


Have you tried all the steps in the 'OSX Setup and General Troubleshooting' thread at the top of this forum?

Thanks for the reply! Yes, I've trashed the prefs, digi setup, DBs, &c. (on all volumes), but still have the problem. It only seemas to be this one plug-in. I haven't yet discarded it and simply re-installed it, though. I'm not sure what the error signifies... The message says I'm low on memory, but that can't possibly be (2.5 GB RAM)...

It certainly could be.

It only seemas to be this one plug-in. I haven't yet discarded it and simply re-installed it, though.

Try installing the plug-in from the installer.
