Do yourself a favor and check out sawstudio.com. Watch all the videos and read the question and answer section. Then download the demo. The demo is fully functional except that every 15 seconds there is silence. So you can record to it and save your work. Also download the tutorials. I use Saw and Cubase Sx. The Pro Tools software is indeed very good. Digi's way of business however is not very user-friendly. I was going to buy a Digi 001 then I found out it was about to be discontinued. I would have bought an Mbox if it had used firewire instead of usb. But it meant that I would have to have changed my motherboard because the chipset (!) wasn't approved. So if you go with Pro Tools be sure your computer is "approved." |
