Default 1176 into my C24

Hey folks,

I have a C24 and a 192, and I'm trying to hook up my 1176.

I'm using 8 of the c24 pres, and a couple outboard pres into the 192.

Where is the proper place to route a send/return for my 1176. I don't have a patchbay or any other outboard gear...just need the one (for now).

Would I need a db25 to xlrf, and a db25 to xlrm and just use the 9-16 line in and line out in the preamp section of the C24?

Any help would be much appreciated.

If you're looking to use it as an insert, you'd need to come in and out of the 192.

Ah, thanks Axiom. How would you go about it? I currently have the output of the 192 going to the "Pro Tools In" of the C24. I can obviously get the signal out of the 1176 through the 192, but how to I get the signal in to the 1176 from Pro Tools?

I'd have to look at my C|24 and 192 to see exactly how to do it. My setup has a patch bay. Maybe someone else can chime in with a better answer whether coming line out from the C|24 would work. Sorry I don't know how to do it. In the past I had some AES outboard gear connected directly to the 192.
