Default Tactile control of PTLE without Command|8 Control|24?

Sorry if this has been answered elsewhere, bit is there any product available on the market that will control the mixer in PTLE in the same fashion as either of the two above mentioned items?

Ideally I would like to get a hold of either of those two, but their availability and price are quite restrictive (ie no one wants to ship one from the US for under 2.5K) I am finding it very hard to start and stop a mix while holding my instrument. I am a massive noob to the world of recording, and any help/advice anything will be greatly appreciated!

Cheers!

Check out the Euphonix Artist series...the MC MIX and MC CONTROL. These are MAC only, but certainly a great option for what you're saying you want to do.

Not sure what you are looking for because command 8 and control 24 are "BIG" and I use smaller controllers with PTLE. You might want to have a look to

The Command8 is not big, it's an 8-fader desktop style unit that is $1150 US new. I wonder if he meant DCommand?

I love my BCF2000, i can control almost everything from and it's dirt cheap.

It doesn't have touch sensitive faders but it does integrate well with Pro Tools, i use it mainly for transport, fader levels, pan snd aux sends.
