Prevent users from installing plugins with run as admin
Hey all-
So it looks like I'm stuck running as admin with PT, it's also annoying then that RAA loses drag and drop, and generally it seems pretty bad that avid hasn't fixed this issue- But, being that it is what is, any advice on locking down the plugins folders when logged in as an admin? Can I password protect them or something? I have a multi-room, multi-op space. People will install/license a plugin on one computer, and then go to another computer and it's missing. Plus, it's more difficult to troubleshoot when I don't even know what's been installed. |

Look into changing the Security Permissions on whatever folder you want to protect.
