Default Downloading ProTools 8...should I uninstall 7.1.1?

Hello, I just went ahead and paid for my ProTools 8 and I am downloading everything off of digi's site.

Should I uninstall the ProTools 7.1.1 that is on my system now?

If so do I accomplish this by putting the install disc and running some sort of a uninstall program?

Thanks a bunch.
