Default PT9HD with 192 and legacy

Hi.
I'm currently using Pro Tools 8.1 HD with one 192 I/O and an ADAT|24 connected to the legacy port. This is working very good for me.

I found this at the compatibility page:
Note: Pro Tools Mix-era peripherals are not qualified with Pro Tools 9 TDM systems and will not operate with Pro Tools|HD Native. Use these items at your own risk.

Do anyone know if Pro Tools 9HD works with this combination?

Regards
b.j.

Oh, what a nice discover... I use an Apogee AD8000 with PT 8.1cs2 and it's working like a charm. I'm laughing too much because an Avid operator told me on a phone call one month ago "we listen to our clients and we are happy to support also the old interfaces" ahahahah yes, they are really listening. REALLY. No doubt.

Even though they're being decidedly cagey about stating it clearly, I'm pretty sure the legacy interfaces do still work with PT9. If you look at page 69 of the reference guide there is a screenshot of the hardware setup page. It is clearly a shot from PT9 as it lists the aggregate IO at the bottom, but you can also see in the list a 96 IO with 888|20 attached.

fwiw, i'm using a 96 I/O with an 882|20 off the legacy port and it works just fine. i think this is one of those not "officially supported", but not explicitly blocked either kind of situations.
