Xpand missing on old machine

Hi,

PT 7.3.1 TDM on an old G4.

Xpand has gone missing.
I have no idea why.

Anyone know how to get it back?
Avid has no download.

Hi,

Xpand was introduced from PT 8 onwards

You could install PT8 or above on another partition and copy the files over and it will work.

Just a heads up.....
I think Xpand may have been introduced around the time of PT 8, but we have been using it with our prehistoric 7.3.x G4 machine for a long time.

For whatever reason, when I went to open an older session, Xpand was gone.
The preset lists were there and all of the associated other files.

I was trying to document this, but somehow, found Xpand on Avid's site, through a side door.
Also had to install a program that lets Xpand find an "Xpand!.dat" file.
Now it's back and all is well.

Still trying to justify upgrade to HDX/HD Native.

Xpand came out with 7.3. It's Xpand2 that came out with PT8.
