Default Name a few reliable FW400 drives...

What would you recommend and where should I buy... I'm using internal drives for audio and need a 250gb back up FW drive... (but the drive could serve some duty for audio). Only need FW/400. Don't want to spend top dollar as this is primarily a back up drive.

Thanks

Maxtor's great. I have two, an older one for backup and one of their newest models for audio. No problems at all so far.

Lacie also i hear makes some very good ones.

I have a 300GB Maxtor One Touch Ultra 2, and that thing is great. Haven't gotten too much PT use with it, but overall, i'm pleased with it.

In terms of LaCie, i hear that the Porche drives should be avoided (for PT use especially).

I was looking at these. As far as the the Oxford 911 chip being aproved by Digi... does this mean you should only get a drive with this Oxford 911 chip, or does it just mean you can use this drive as well. I noticed OWC has a drive with a 912 chip in it touted as an audio/video drive. Will any of their drives do?

Thanks for help folks.
