Default Elastic time

Could anyone explain to me how you would use elastic time on an audio guitar strack if you were changing strumming patterns through the song??

Could you be a bit more specific as to what you want to be able to do? Do you want ET to change the pattern, or are you saying the track has different strum patterns throughout?
