Default Mulitple Monitors

Is there any way to use two video screens with digidesign on a windows based system. For instance, I want to have the mix window on one screen, while the edit window is open on the other. I know this is possible for Mac users. Please tell me that my second 17inch Monitor is'nt wasting away!!

You can use a dual monitor card like a
Matrox G400, or install two monitor cards and configure windows correctly. I have never had a problem either way, but the window behavior is a bit different in Windows when using two monitors.
