Default Pro Tools 10 uninstalled itself??

I was doing some mixing and recording yesterday (12-2) came to try again today and my computer says that protools is not on the computer. Try to download from Avid and it says that I cannot connect to server for the download. This happening to anyone else with protools?

No Pro Tools does not "unisntall itself", as much as it might want to at times, it just has to sit there and suffer though.

And besides the complete lack of useful info I'm really betting the computer did not actually say to you "protools is not on the computer". So as well as all the other info, you should explain what exactly you were doing to try to run Pro Tools (exactly what icon (full path for that icon?) were you trying to run?). And when you went and looked for the Pro Tools executable installed on disk could you find that? e.g. C:\Program Files\Digidesign\... \Pro Tools.exe or whatever it is, look around, I can't remember and don't have a PC in front of me.

I've never even heard of such a thing. I'm sure there's a good explanation for why it appears that PT has been uninstalled but it's not because the app decided to jettison itself. Is PT not in the Avid folder?
