Delta 1010 only showing 2 available inputs?

Hi, just installed pro yools on win xp, and when I try and select input source for audio track, it only shows inputs 1 & 2 or spdif. I should have more avail (souncard does) so im wondering how I get pro tools to recognise this?

First make sure you've setup all I/O in Pro Tools for your delta 1010.

If your delta driver is installed correctly and working in WinXP...
in PTMP go to: Setup - I/O. Look at the tabs above (input, output,)

to the left you'll see a (+) sign next to what might be only 1-2 in/out setup for your delta (You should be seeing I/O 1-10, 9 & 10 being spdif).
In which case you'll need to click the + sign and add in the rest of the I/O and make sure each is checked for use (checkmark).

* As you manually add the I/O you should add until you see them cascaded down (1-2, L-R, 3-4 L-R, etc.) for all your delta I/O.


But...also adding here that I suggest you look into and try the older delta drivers (which are PTMP qualified ).

* The "latest" drivers are not always the best driver. I choose to use older delta driver vers 5.10.00.0051, or the very next vers above this will suffice as well. But the latest Maudio drivers? awful imo. Points to shoddy or non-existent dev team.
