PT 2023.3 keylayout problem with AZERTY keyboard [PT-299479]

Hi

After installing the new 2023.3, protools launches itself thinking my computer has a US keyboard layout (QWERTY) even though 'Follow Keyboard Layout' is checked under Setup > Keyboard shortcuts.

When I change it to 'Lock To US Layout' and revert it back to 'Follow Keyboard Layout', Pro tools now recognizes my AZERTY keyboard layout.

After restarting PT, its back again to QWERTY (also when saving presets).

Old preferences deleted, re-installed, re-started computer: still the same issue.

Issue both in native and rosetta.

Specs: Macbook pro M1 pro on OS 12.6.3 Monterey.

When reverting back to PT 2022.12, pro tools sees my AZERTY layout with no problems as you would expect it to do.

Anyone having this issue?

Same here.
I got it to work by unchecking the auto-switch preference then go to setup/keyboard shortcut, switch between "lock to US keyboard" and back to "follow keyboard" then it's ok.
but as soon as you quit PT you have to do it all again.

really annoying.
Also, cmd+numeric keypad shortcuts are said working again in the release notes but they're not.
At least not for me.

For what it's worth, it doesn't seem to affect German QWERTZ keyboards.

We'd like to request additional screenshots in other parts of Pro Tools where it's indicating qwerty shortcuts? As well as a screenshot of your settings indicating Azerty, I'll be needing those to forward to our team for review.

I have sent screenshots and a short video showing the problem, looks like we'll have to wait for the next update.
In the meantime we'll have to re-set the keyboard layout every time we open Pro Tools
